Getting started

From creating the account to the panel, and the shortest path to search working in your store.

3 min Updated 9 August 2026

Create the account

Registration asks for four things: your name, the name of the company or store, the email and a password. When you submit, two things happen at once:

  • The store account is created, with an identifier of its own that becomes part of the panel address.
  • A 30 day free trial on the Pro plan starts, with nothing to pay up front and no commitment. It lets you try out search, the assistant and analytics with everything switched on.

The account is born with no API key, and that is on purpose: a key only exists in full at the instant it is issued, and one created at registration would reach the panel already unreadable. You issue yours in the store profile, under Integrations, when it is time to connect the store, and the complete value shows up at that moment.

The panel

The panel lives at buskara.com/cliente/{your-store}. The store is in the address, not hidden away in the session: a link to a panel screen can be shared with a colleague on the team and it opens in the right place.

Navigation has three zones:

  • At the top, loose: Overview (performance over the last 30 days), Analytics (figures with a window of your choosing) and Optimisation (what to do next).
  • Search: Stores, Search engines, Synonyms, Merchandising, Playground and Assistant. This is where the product gets tuned.
  • Account: Team and Plan and usage. Billing, Integrations and Privacy belong to each store and live in the Store profile, which opens from the store selector at the top of the bar, each one in its own tab.

At the bottom of the sidebar there is always the Plan bTokens meter: how many bTokens the cycle has spent, as a percentage of the limit. It turns red when the ceiling is reached, and at that point it is worth reading the guide on plan and payments.

In the user menu (corner of the screen) you change the interface language, your details and your password, and you turn on two-factor authentication.

What is not there yet

A freshly created account has no store connected, and Overview shows the "No store connected yet" card, with the path to follow: issue the API key, install the module in the store and paste the key there. Stores are not created in the panel; they appear on their own when the module connects for the first time.

The order that works

  1. Install the module in the PrestaShop store: connect, index the catalogue and turn the search panel on.
  2. Tune the search: weights, filters, synonyms and rules. Appearance and theme integration has a guide of its own.
  3. Read the analytics: understand what visitors look for and what they do not find.
  4. Invite the team: each person with their own account and their own role.

Every step has its guide. If you only have time for one, make it the first: with no store connected, the rest of the panel has nothing to show.
